St. Ann’s Community is looking for a full time Pharmacy Technicians for the St. Ann’s Home located at the Irondequoit Campus. The purpose of this position would be to assist in pharmacy operations including but not limited to computer order entry, packaging, ordering, storage and delivery of medication.

Job Description:
- Assists Pharmacist with all procedures in the Pharmacy except those specifically restricted to a Licensed Pharmacist
- Responsible for learning the pharmacy software and equipment
- Responsible for unit dose packaging medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist sufficient to meet the needs of daily stock and refill orders and maintaining repackaging logs as required by state and federal regulations
- Responsible for unit dose packaging of Controlled Substances under the supervision of a Pharmacist and maintaining repackaging logs as required by state and federal regulations
- Responsible for preparing, scanning and labeling unit dose medications for Pharmacist final review
- Responsible for the daily delivery of medications (to nursing units or resident rooms) and when necessary, delivering emergency orders to the Nursing Units
- Responsible for ordering (most cost effective) medication, stock and supplies
- Assists with weekly cycle counting of inventory
- Maintains clean pharmacy and work area
Candidate Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalency Required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred or Equivalent experience
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
