Summary
The Talent Recruitment Coordinator enthusiastically promotes the City of Temple as an employer of choice, builds our talent pipeline, analyzes recruitment strategy outcomes, and proactively foresees the staffing needs of the organization. This position will serve as the first point of contact for potential new employees and ensure a smooth recruitment and onboarding process for all vacant positions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Organizes, coordinates, and attends events including but not limited to; job fairs and other trade shows to promote vacant positions, the employer brand and the City as an employer of choice
- Maintains partnerships with external stakeholders including colleges, universities, other educational institutions, workforce solutions and other organizations throughout the local and expanded community to market for current and future vacancies and to promote the employer brand
- Partners with internal stakeholders to review current and staffing needs
- Designs and implements successful recruitment strategies
- Promotes the City as an employer of choice
- Interacts with potential candidates
- Conducts detailed analysis and reports on outreach outcomes, hiring statistics, vacancy status, and other activities
- Works with Communications and Marketing to design marketing materials encompassing the City’s vision, mission and core values
- Partners with Communications & Marketing to update all content for relevant websites and other communication channels
- Stays up-to date with current industry recruiting trends and technology by attending trainings, conferences, webinars, etc.
- Participates in professional organizations to advance knowledge and network with other industry professionals
- Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience in talent outreach, recruitment, or a related area
- Two (2) years of experience with applicant tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Municipal Government experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver license
