Clinical Supervisor - Residential - Erie
This high-level clinical position will have oversight over the behavioral support program for the adult residential program. The position will also provide support to those individuals within the residential program who are also provided support services outside of residential. Responsibilities include supervision of behavioral support staff and maintaining a high level of behavior programming using innovative strategies.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of behavior support techniques, implementation, and evaluation.
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills with an innate ability to multitask.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, especially within regulated environments.
A typical day-to-day may include:
- Serve as direct supervisor for all behavior support staff, including in those staff located in the satellite offices.
- Acts as a liaison with senior level management and other department managers by developing productive, collaborative relationships.
- Chair the Agency Human Rights Review Committee.
- Review and sign off on all newly created or renewed behavior support plans and functional assessments.
- Complete on-going research of innovative behavior strategies and adopt new strategies when appropriate.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of 2380, 6100, 6400, and 6500 regulations and ensure all staff have a good working knowledge of regulations, BNI policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Assure that all plans and training created by the behavior team can be clearly understood and implemented by Direct Support Professionals.
- Attend conferences and seminars related to innovative behavior strategies or other relevant topics.
What you’ll have:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling or other Human Services field.
- Three years of experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health, Autism and/or Intellectual Disability with one year acting in a supervisor capacity.
- Must be willing to travel and work varied hours as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance. FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements.
