Part-Time Monday-Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm - 10 Month Position – Opportunity for Summer Hours

The Child Care Assistant Group Supervisor will work with children in the Happy Hearts Preschool, a Keystone STAR 4 program. Responsibilities of the Child Care Assistant Group Supervisor include supporting the children in group and individual activities designed to enhance social skills, responsibility, initiative, and other emerging skills. Successful applicants will have a willingness to always engage with children, and to perform instructional and non-instructional tasks accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, or
    • A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and one year (1250 hours) of experience with children, or
    • A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 2 years’ -2500 hours - experience with children.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse History Clearance, and NSOR clearance
  • PA Department of Human Services FBI clearance required
