Qualifications you’ll bring: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred and previous experience in healthcare administration or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Your key responsibilities:  

  • Coordinate and manage Medicare appeals, including reviewing and processing appeals within specified timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and guidelines throughout the appeals process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information for appeals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of appeals, including documentation of all communication and actions taken.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to clients regarding the status of their appeals.
  • Assist clients in understanding the appeals process and provide guidance on next steps.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to Medicare appeals in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in Medicare regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to clients.
  • Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
