Qualifications you’ll bring:
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent amount of education and relevant experience.
- A combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Seven or more years of experience in health care operation, contracting, contract negotiation or Finance with at least 3 years managing a team.
- Strong vendor contracting experience.
- Extensive experience with RFP’s and RFI’s.
- Proven ability to lead teams to achieve aggressive objectives through influence and organizational collaboration.
- Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth.

- Commitment to being the difference for our customers in every interaction.
Your key responsibilities:
- Establish principles, guidelines, standards and strategies that ensures a comprehensive and consistent manner of vendor evaluation, selection and contracting.
- Implement policies and governance to advance repeatable efficient processes to the procurement function.
- Oversee and advance RFQ, RFP and RFI strategies and processes.
- Negotiate key vendor contract terms including term length, termination, pricing and SLA’s.
- Demonstrate a continual effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively with other departments to provide a quality and seamless operation.
- Develop sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used by the business.
- Supervising a procurement team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary.
- Develop, communicate and administer procurement team performance and development plans.
- Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments within MVP.
- Actively participate in collaborative team environment to educate, coordinate activities, and resolve unique problems with recommended course to action with internal and external partners.
- Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
