Job Summary |
The Transmission Project Pursuits Manager – (TPPM) manages all aspects of transmission project proposals. Most duties occur from the pre-bid stage through contract signing and order entry, after which the project is handed to another project manager. The TPPM generally focuses on more challenging project-related opportunities, while others handle day-to-day quote requests. The TPPM reports to the Transmission Commercial Sales Manager and offices in Ft. Mill, SC. The TPPM has no direct reports but requires engaging Sales, Project Coordinators, Pricing, Applications Engineering, and others for support. Light travel may be required between Ft. Mill and York, SC (car, est. 5%) to attend factory visits with customers and work with plants on strategy. Other occasional travel (air, est. 5%) may be necessary for training, conferences, or to help secure large projects. |
