Food & Beverage - Park Worker II, III and Advanced - Seasonal

Hourly Range: $9.88 - $16.58

Summary –

Prepares, serves, and sells food/beverages to visitors while maintaining cleanliness and customer service standards. Ensures safe dining experience and supports parks operations.

 

Responsibilities –

  • Customer service and sales - Stock and sell food and beverage, cash handling, cash register operation, assist customers.
  • Location maintenance/cleaning - Maintain proper cleanliness of all areas of your food and beverage operation (office, clubhouse/beer garden, service areas, bathrooms).
  • Food and beverage operation knowledge - Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, proper food preparation, and safe alcohol service.
  • Administration duties - Complete daily safe and deposit logs, register deposits and deposit slips, and register closeout.

 

Minimum Requirements –

  • Current resident of Wisconsin.
  • 16 years old at the time of application.

 

Preferred –

  • Food and Beverage experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred

 

NOTE:  This original application is open to permanent residents of the state of Wisconsin at the time of application. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
