Food Service Operator – Seasonal
Hourly Range: $17.98 - $20.19 per hour

Summary –
Provide day-to-day concessions of a designated unit; responsible for equipment and facility maintenance; oversee cash handling and revenue collection process; ensure consistent and quality delivery of goods and services and to maximize revenue opportunities; preserve and enhance department assets.
Responsibilities –
- Personnel management - Recommend hiring of concessions seasonal staff and provide guidance and direction for job assignments; assist with performance appraisals, training, and workforce development opportunities.
- Operations management - Oversee the day-to-day operations to include quality food and beverage preparation, menu planning and pricing. Monthly inventory and cost control measures.
- Cash handling - Completing daily cash reports, overseeing proper cash handling procedures, and petty cash management including completion of daily logs and reports.
- Administrative - Completing schedule, new hire paperwork, daily reports, inventory, ordering product for service, coding invoices.
Minimum Requirements –
- Current resident of WI
- 16 years of age or older during application.
- At least One (1) years of experience in Food service or cash handling, greeting customers, etc.
- At least One (1) years of supervisory experience in Food service, leading a team, training
- Ability to push/pull/carry/lift 20 lbs.
NOTE: This original application is open to permanent residents of the state of Wisconsin at the time of application. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
