Doorman - Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel

The Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel, an upscale boutique hotel, is seeking a friendly and professional to start a Journey with us.  The ideal candidate is eager to meet and engage with the hotel guests.  

Key responsibilities will include:

Warmly greet our guests at the hotel entrance.  You will set the expectations of the guest when they arrive at the hotel.  

Assist guests with their luggage by unloading/loading luggage and transporting it into the hotel for check-in.

Providing the guests with information about the hotel, local attractions and events. 

Monitor the surrounding area for any security concerns.

Maintaining the front entrance and area of the hotel.  Ensuring it is clean including the driveway, mats and the surrounding area.

Arrange transportation for guests is needed.

Communicate with hotel staff regarding guest needs.

Required Skills:

Excellent customer service maintaining a friendly and positive demeanor.

Local knowledge

Clear and concise communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to life 20 - 25 lbs.

Standing, and walking for several hours. 

Hourly rate $15 - $20/hr
