Knowledge/Training:

- Fluent English, read and write necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of hand tools and carpentry tools
- Must be able to make repairs to basic electrical and plumbing systems
- Basic maintenance knowledge
- Licenses or certifications desirable but not required
|
|
Essential Tasks:
|
- Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Installs equipment and appliances.
- Follows local and state building codes.
- Complies with all company safety regulations.
- Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports.
- Reports any issues to the maintenance manager.
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients.
- Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
- Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
- Performs preventive maintenance as requested with a matrix and reports progress to manager upon request.
- Must conduct themselves professionally at all times.
- Uniform must be worn daily, properly and never altered.
