Internship Overview
Are you ready to gain hands-on experience, contribute to impactful projects, and grow professionally this summer? Our Summer Internship Program is designed for motivated college students seeking real-world exposure in a dynamic industry. This 10-week program offers a unique opportunity to support key operational areas and make a meaningful impact.
We are seeking an intern to support Continuous Improvement (CI), Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams at our Chesterfield, Michigan facility.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern in this program, you will:
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Assist with projects aimed at optimizing workflows, improving efficiency, and driving operational excellence.
- Supply Chain: Support logistics, procurement, and inventory processes to enhance supply chain performance.
- Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to support preventive maintenance programs and ensure smooth equipment operation.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Shadow experienced professionals and learn industry best practices.
- Complete an intern project and present results to leadership.
Required Qualifications
We’re looking for motivated students who are ready to learn and grow. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Operations Management, etc.).
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
