Key Account Executive - Industrial Sales

Position Overview:
MacLean-Fogg is seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Account Executive to join our Industrial Sales team. This position will focus on managing and growing relationships with key accounts within the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of industrial products, and a proven ability to develop long-term client relationships.
The position will work remotely but will ideally be located in the Great Lakes Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients, providing excellent service and support.
- Identify opportunities to expand business with existing accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Prospect new markets and potential customers within the industry sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to deliver exceptional value to clients.
- Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reporting to track progress and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to offer valuable insights to clients.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, with a focus on key account management.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial products and solutions, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
