Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for evaluation, repair, preventative maintenance, and performing troubleshooting and adjustments to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as needed. Your ability to read blueprints, understand and complete industrial maintenance activities, interpret engineering specifications, and adhere to safety and environmental policies will contribute to our continued success.

Job Duties:

  • Provide technical assistance and resolution for machine and equipment issues
  • Diagnose and repair all breakdowns pertaining to machinery, utility services, and building structures
  • Perform basic routine maintenance on plant equipment and understand preventative techniques
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints if applicable
  • Use advanced measuring instruments
  • Use hand and power tools to repair and maintain equipment
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in handling complex issues and problems
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter

Competencies/Skills:

  • Ability to interpret work instructions
  • Proficient in following written and verbal directions
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Intermediate use of required gaging instruments
