Parking Enforcement Auditor- Evening Shift
Position: Parking Auditor
Location: Downtown Nashville
Shift: 4:30pm - 1:00am
Parking Auditor Position Summary
The parking auditor is an energetic, outgoing, polite, and conscientious professional who is responsible for ensuring parking lot guests have properly paid.
Parking Auditor Duties and Responsibilities
- Write and issue parking violations to parking customers and tenants who violate parking policies
- Write and issue parking violations to visitors who have not properly paid to park
- Document violations by photo using company-provided handheld device
- Patrol transient and reserved parking various locations on foot or by vehicle
- Provide assistance to customers who may have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
- Assist parking customers by answering questions about rates, how to pay, and directions
- Report debris, water, oil spills, other hazards, and issues with equipment
- Drive personal vehicle to different locations within assigned territory to perform ticket audits and issue violations.
- Work independently and as part of the team
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Incumbent must be able to
- Stand and walk throughout the garages and/or lots for prolonged periods of up to six consecutive hours
- Visually inspect vehicles in garages and lots; physically access all areas in all types of weather
- Lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Communicate effectively in spoken English with team members and customers

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee must correctly and accurately use hand-held ticketing equipment. The employee is frequently required to reach and may be frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Other Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Follow appropriate grooming standards; required to wear a uniform
- Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to locations within assigned territory. An auto allowance is provided to address the cost of personal vehicle usage.
