BOWLING CENTER PRO SHOP OPERATOR - VR - FULL-TIME - VARIED SHIFT

JOB SUMMARY:
The Pro Shop Operator is responsible for completing bowling ball drilling, repairs, sales, and service. Responsible for managing the Bowling Center Pro Shop inventory.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have previous experience working in a Bowling Center in the past 24 months, i.e., current expertise in drilling and/or repairing bowling balls. This person must create a friendly first impression when helping our guests and players. Basic money handling and math skills are required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist guests and players with pro shop merchandise ordering and questions.
- Drill and repair bowling balls as needed/requested.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, including monthly report to accounting.
- Use of safe work practices is required.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
- Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, or uneven surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as bowling balls and record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment for the Bowling Center and Arcades. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines. The work environment has moderate to loud noises from equipment in the area. The work environment involves exposure to second hand smoke in a casino. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
