Position Summary: 

Responsible for the coordination of the plants on-site warehouse activities. This includes receiving, stocking, managing and shipping of products.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare shipments as required.
  • Create Pack Slip’s, CoC’s, and Commercial Invoices. Complete data entry in ERP, documenting all required detail in accordance with ISO 13485, GMP, and company written work instructions.
  • Schedule shipments based on internal or customer requirements. Create and/or track BOL’s for scheduled shipments.
  • Document items shipped by recording the identifying information of items and transportation.
  • Re-order and stock shipping supplies such as shrink film to meet production requirements.
  • Re-order and stock shipping inventory such as pack slip/CoC envelops, Shipping labels (do not double stack, etc).
  • Stretch wrap Finished Goods as needed.
  • Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers
  • Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.
  • Documents items received by recording identifying information. Complete data entry in ERP and document all required forms in accordance with ISO 13485, GMP, and company written work instructions.  
  • Move materials from the quarantine areas into the proper released area after quality assurance has released the material.  
  • Notify and disperse supplies to appropriate departments.  Coordinate with quality assurance to expedite the release of urgent incoming material shipments.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors for release as needed materials (Ex. Heat Treated Pallets)
  • Participates in cycle-counts and physical inventory.  Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies as required.  
  • Maintains cleanliness of warehouse.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of shipping and receiving experience
  • Fork lift certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language
  • Perform basic mathematical skills
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be quality conscious and customer oriented
  • Capability to follow written job instruction, make computer entries, and fill out paper forms and documents as required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 
  • Must be able to do extensive walking and unloading.
  • Must be able to Bend, Twist, Reach, Lift and Squatting during the course of the shift
