Position Overview:
At Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, we believe by fostering an excellent work environment, our team creates enriching experiences for our guests. The Crooked Tree Tavern Team are dedicated to ensuring a memorable and delightful culinary experience for our guests.
This position is responsible for all aspects of culinary production at Cooper Spur including presentation, consistancy, and sanitation.The Chef De Cuisine is responsible for BOH administrative functions including but not limited to: helping to recruit, hiring, training, inventory controls, purchasing and menu development. With the support of the CS leadership team this person is responsible for the planning and execution of events and contracted banquet functions.
This is a Full-Time benefited year-round position

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of culinary leadership/management experience
• Minimum of 1 year banquet production experience
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Creative menu development & production experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel) preferred
• Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions
• 21 years of age
• ServSafe Certification
• Able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Proficient in menu mix costing, inventory management, and labor controls
Compensation:
- Starting Wage: $28.00 Hourly
