Position Overview
The Lift Attendant will courteously and effectively interact with guests while operating a lift station to provide safe uphill transport for those guests

- At least 18 years of age
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Reliable transportation for winter road conditions
- Strong grasp of the English language and excellent communication skills
- Ability to safely lift and carry heavy items
- Able to maintain a dependable attendance record
- Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season
- Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in outdoor winter conditions preferred, but not required

At Cooper Spur Ski Area, we pride ourselves on our strong guest service. Our lift operators are presented with the opportunity to be at the forefront of that service experience. Since we have a smaller family based clientele it is easy to get to know many of our guests on a bit of a personal level. That is the difference we strive for. It can feel like an individual experience for riders on a hill that caters to them. It is also of utmost importance to create a safe and collaborative work environment. You will be part of a small team that relies heavily upon one another to create a positive work experience for each other. Simply loading and unloading the chairlift is a small part of what we do.
