IT Innovation Technician
The Senior IT Innovations Tech role involves leading cutting-edge projects to design and implement innovative IT solutions. Using an agile approach, you will collaborate across teams to translate ideas into practical, efficient tools that enhance productivity and drive technological advancement. This position requires a mix of technical ability in both software and hardware, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for engineering and innovation. What you will do:
- Lead project development from whiteboard concepts to real-world applications.
- Design, test and demonstrate prototypes.
- Assess and improve current processes to drive innovation.
- Analyze data to pinpoint opportunities for business process automation.
- Take lead on solving problems and quickly delivering solutions
- Spearhead projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
- Thrive in an environment where requirements and priorities can change rapidly.
- Seek out (and enthusiastically share) new knowledge, tools, and technologies to help take Mister forward into the future.
- Document processes and outcomes, ensuring clear handoff of implementations to the Operations team.
- Facilitate the “operationalization” of new technologies, providing thorough documentation and training to enable seamless integration.
- Other duties as assigned.
How you will shine:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years working in technology related fields such as Data Analyst, IT Support, IT Administrator or equivalent positions.
- Strong skills in data analysis, data mining, and various programming languages (Java, Python, PowerShell, SQL).
- A strong business acumen with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Background in industrial automation or embedded systems (Car Wash industry preferred).
- Experience working with AI and ML concepts, including Computer Vision (CV).
- Working knowledge of electrical components and design.
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic in our forward-thinking and collaborative team environment.
- A demonstrated passion for all things “tech.”
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Travel required: Must provide own vehicle. Occasional travel to different markets around the Continental US (average of 5% a year) and Tucson metro area (approximately 20%).
Certifications (preferred):
- CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+
- Cisco Certified Technician (CCT)
- Basic Electronics Certifications
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) or basic automation Certifications
