Qualifications:
- The Assistant Program Director must have a minimum of 1 year of experience providing supervision and staff training. Master’s degree required; PhD preferred.
- The Assistant Program Director is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) (or otherwise qualified clinician) with at least 2 years of experience providing applied behavior analytic services to children, adolescents, and/or adults with autism, brain injury and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- We are seeking a BCBA who meets ONE of the following additional requirements:

- At least 4 3-credit classes that focus on infants, toddlers, or families and 300 hours of work experience with children under the age of 5
- Master's in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, counseling psychology, clinical psychology, developmental psychology, or education psychology
- Dually certified in one of the following fields: SLP, OT, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC
- At least 4 3-credit classes that focus on infants, toddlers, or families and 300 hours of work experience with children under the age of 5
Responsibilities:
- The Assistant Program Director works under the direction of the Program Director to provide clinical oversight of applied behavior analytic services for their assigned program while ensuring that qualitative and quantitative goals are met.
- Supports operational performance of assigned program. Services delivered follow “best practice” approaches, which include operationally defined, empirically documented and socially validated methods based on the principles of behavior analysis.
- Ensures standard of care practices, by providing training, oversight, supervision, and evaluating the work performance for program staff. Additionally, the Assistant Program Director supports the performance and productivity of staff in accordance with May Institute policies and procedures.
