May Institute is an award-winning nonprofit organization that provides educational, rehabilitative, and behavioral healthcare services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, brain injury, mental illness, and behavioral health needs. The organization is one of the largest and most well-respected providers of services and special education schools for children and adults with autism and other special needs in Massachusetts and in the U.S.
May Adult Services is looking for a qualified Office Support Coordinator in Western MA Adult Services.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with administrative tasks for the center by supporting Business Manager with the day-to-day operations.
- Support Business Manager with financial tasks within the center to include accounts receivable, billing, representative payee accounts, and food stamp program.
- Program Support to include Mass Health Program, MIDAS Administrator, liaison with facilities & IT, vehicle fleet coordination, file maintenance for incident reports & safety data, and purchasing.
- Back up to reception; screening calls, answering phones, greeting visitors, sorting mail, ordering, distributing office supplies & all other administrative duties as appropriate.
This is a full-time position. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30AM- 4:30PM
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel
- Experience managing account payables
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
