Position: Retail Sales Manager

   

Supervisory Responsibility: None

 

In This Role, You Will…
Be responsible for developing and maintaining a retail installment portfolio within an assigned region. You will market company-approved programs through direct solicitation and in conjunction with the branch offices in the assigned region to meet or exceed company objectives. As the Retail Sales Manager, you will also provide retail guidance and support to the branches as needed on retail-related issues. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops new business by visiting dealers and promoting the company’s retail finance programs.
  • Determines what is necessary to win new business by offering competitive yet profitable plans.
  • Follows up with existing dealers by verifying they are serviced properly and institutes changes where necessary.
  • Works with Regional Sales Manager to determine profitability of continued relationships and makes adjustments in business as required.
  • Assists the branches with retail-related issues as needed.
  • Works with Regional Sales Manager to develop programs for dealers through market analysis.
  • Maintains strong working relationships with headquarters retail groups, field management, and branch offices.
  • Completes and provides timely reports to management as requested.
  • May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.

  • Operationally proficient and competent, reliable, and displays problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong time management skills, written and oral communications skills, decision-making skills, and a strong personal commitment.
  • Adheres to company policies, cooperative, and shows industriousness.
  • Ability to obtain interpersonal trust with contacts.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; experience in related sales field may be substituted.

 

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation: Salary (commensurate with experience) + Bonus
