Assistant Supervisor
We're currently seeking an Assistant Supervisor in our Transitional Housing Program for homeless individuals.

Assistant Supervisor Position Summary:
The Assistant Program Supervisor provides high quality supportive services to ensure that a safe, healthy and welcoming living environment is provided for residents. The Assistant Program Supervisor provides on-site direction to and coordinates residence counseling staff.
Assistant Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operation of house functions while on duty (i.e., meals, activities, chores).
- Participates in the development of an individualized service plan for assigned clients; coordinates and facilitates the delivery of services in accordance with service plan.
- Provides supportive counseling, as necessary and encourages each resident to make healthier choices in their daily lives.
- Assures that household responsibilities and housekeeping functions are performed as required. Completes cleaning tasks as necessary.
- Provides day to day oversight of direct support professional staff, coordinating assignments of daily tasks.
- Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Supervisor in his/her absence
- Responds effectively to client emergencies, which may require flexibility of both time and areas of assignment.
- Completes all required documentation, in timelines in accordance with program standards.
Assistant Supervisor Qualifications:
Bachelors/Associates and one (1) year experience or HS Diploma and two (2) years related experience. Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Assistant Supervisor Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates understanding of HIV disease, its progress/current treatments and impact on housing homelessness as well as knowledge of HIV related resources in the community. Demonstrates initiative and sound judgment. Demonstrates knowledge of the Harm Reduction Model. Ability to work independently and with flexibility in days and hours of work.
Starting Pay Rate: $22.12 per hour
