L+M Development Partners LLC, an established residential developer/builder/manager, has an excellent opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our development team. We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and eager-to-help individual. Our ideal candidate is an organized self-starter who is eager to contribute to the success of the development team by:
- Freeing the team from some administrative responsibilities
- Contributing to improving organization and communication between the team
- Collaborate with teams in the company to facilitate operations
Candidate will primarily support the President of Development and CEO but will also work with other members of the development team. There is ample opportunity for growth in this position for the right person.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Independently coordinate and calendar meetings/appointments for the development team , including meeting logistics such as conference room reservations, access for remote participants, catering, materials.
- Coordinate and track legal and financial documents (signing, mailing etc) .
- Event planning and coordination (guest lists, catering etc)
- Assist with basic accounting tasks (invoice processing, contract set up)
- Participate in occasional proposal preparation and coordination.
- Manage expense reimbursement processes and corporate card purchases
- Occasional travel planning
- Help onboard new team members and be a resource to new colleagues, helping to train on relevant systems. (In addition to outlook and excel we use Concur, Procore, Dealpath, Sage Titanium, Yardi and others)
- Provide general administrative support to the development team.
- Occasional travel to sites or events required (NYC local)
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a relevant setting.
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant role (real estate, paralegal, executive assistant, project coordinator)
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with an ability to multi-task
- Detail-oriented with exceptional follow up and follow through.
- Outgoing and personable demeanor and can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Dedicated to improving operations, including embracing software solutions
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting and contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Interest in real estate development, construction and/or property management preferred.
- Experience with Procore or similar project management software, preferred but not essential.
