Hospice Nurse LPN

Summary

The Hospice LPN is responsible for the holistic nursing care of the patient, and member of the interdisciplinary team that provides for the total physical, psychosocial, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family. The nurse works with the entire team of clinicians to give the best quality of life possible.

Experience

• At least two year of nursing experience preferred
• Hospice experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently in patient/family home
• Ability to work autonomically and willingness to travel when needed in the community

Education/Licensure

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current nursing LPN license with the State of Ohio
