Corporate Revenue Cycle Generalist

Job Summary:

• 1-2 years of prior experience in a medical office or medical customer service setting required.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and other managed care insurance plans
• Experience in Medical records requests preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes.

Responsibilities:

• Submit and track Medical Record Requests in a consistent and timely manner
• Accurately translate patient information into alphanumeric medical codes as needed.
• Provide consistent follow-up for A/R, including managing the appeals process for denied claims.
• Submit claims manually through portals as needed
• Generate patient statements
• Assist with answering phone messages
• Process refunds due
• Ability to perform manual and electronic posting of insurance and patient payments.
• Assist the Billing and AR team with administrative tasks as needed
• Create and track invoices
• Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines set by Medicare, state programs, and HMO/PPO providers.
