Therma LLC has an immediate need for a Quality Control Coordinator/Mechanical Assembly Examiner. This position is responsible for assisting the Quality Control Manager and project management with material receiving & examinations, verifying mechanical assemblies, documentation and communication. Previous experience working in the Construction industry is highly desired.

 

About the Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of quality control.
  • Ability to maintain a strong relationship with PM’s, foremen and QC Examiners.
  • Assist in coordinating delivery of materials from vendors.
  • Assist in coordinating delivery of completed prefabrications to customers.
  • Ability to assist in managing: schedule, submittals, RFI’s & change orders and monitor subcontractors.
  • Pre- and post-construction administrative duties.

• Submittal Management

  • Schedule Updates
  • Meeting preparation and participation for all relevant project meetings.
  • Project Reporting Management
  • Perform administrative and office support activities for the quality management team.
  • Assist with the development of project documentation.
  • Assist with project documentation and Construction Drawings.
  • Track project issues and communicate with the quality manager.
  • Prepare project closeout documents and internal work documents.
  • Order and track material.
  • Verification of materials received.
  • Communicate with Foremen, PMs to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries.
  • Prepare shipping documents.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure approval from Project Managers.

 
Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the industrial and commercial construction industry preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in the mechanical field is strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Outlook, Word and Excel.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

Attention to detail, able to segregate beliefs and assumptions from facts. Demonstrate strong judgment to turn information into insights, practical solutions and decision-ready recommendations.
    • AGILE: Hands-on with ability to shift back and forth from self-reliance and personal accountability to cross-group collaboration while making others successful along the way. Capable of operating in a multi-site and matrixed environment. Adaptable and willing to adjust style to audience, learn and grow with the company.
