Position Overview:
CMTA, a subsidiary of Legence, is actively seeking a Technology Systems Designer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing Information and Communications Technology Systems, encompassing Data Networks, Nurse Call, Medical Technology, Electronic Safety & Security, Paging, Wireless, DAS, and more. This position may require occasional travel based on the project location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Expertise: Utilize your 3-6 years of proven experience in designing Information and Communications Technology Systems to develop innovative solutions for our clients. Projects may include healthcare facilities, educational institutions, commercial spaces, and more.
- Self-Starter & Team Player: Demonstrate strong initiative and proactive planning skills while collaborating seamlessly within cross-functional teams. Effectively manage and prioritize responsibilities to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Software Proficiency: Leverage your expertise with essential design software, including Microsoft Office365, Autodesk BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Employ these tools to create detailed designs and documentation.
- Client Interaction: Utilize your exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients. Effectively present and explain design concepts, solutions, and project progress in a client-facing capacity.
Educational Background:
A degree in Electrical or Technology Engineering is required. Your educational background will provide a strong foundation for your role in designing complex technology systems.
Certification Advantage: Possession of a BICSI Registered RCDD certification or active pursuit of certification is highly desirable. This certification reflects your commitment to industry standards and best practices in technology system design.
Additional Information:
- Location: This position can be based in our Columbus, OH office.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend client meetings, site visits, and project installations. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
