Software Integration Engineer - Legence

We are seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration of software applications and systems.
Job Summary:
The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between various software applications and systems. This role requires a good understanding of software development, system architecture, and data flow management. The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure that all components function properly and meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration Design and Development:
- Analyze and understand integration requirements for new and existing systems.
- Design, develop, test and implement integration solutions using appropriate technologies and methodologies.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with software developers, system architects, product owners, product managers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on integration strategies.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Identify and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
- Provide technical support for integration-related inquiries from internal teams and clients.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to software integration.
- Propose enhancements to existing integration processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Integration Engineer or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Good understanding of enterprise data concepts, data management and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and tools (JIRA, Git).
- Experience with API design and development (RESTful, SOAP) and integration platforms.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data transformation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security protocols and best practices related to software integrations.
