POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE OF POSITION: Associate Account Manager
REPORTS TO: Director, Sales

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- GENERAL PURPOSE
To call and re-establish the buyer / vendor relationship with Leanin’ Tree Greeting Cards. Sells Leanin’ Tree products to established business accounts by telephone: calls blitz lists, services accounts by selecting orders, maximizes sales, maintains current customer base and acquires new business, meeting required revenue goals.
2) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Call existing Leanin’ Tree customers to re-establish the relationship, to sell Leanin’ Tree products and service customer accounts by making a minimum of 85 outbound calls per day and achieve monthly sales goals.
- Quickly and accurately complete inbound calls by servicing, selling or redirecting the call to the appropriate resource.
- Call existing Leanin’ Tree customers to “blitz” for specified products, other projects as needed.
- Master a 6-step sales process, implementing Leanin’ Tree’s Sales best practices.
- Process all orders and resolve customer issues ethically.
- Build new account opportunities by asking for referrals.
- Use and accurately maintain an account management system, including updating accounts, deleting inactive/duplicate accounts, and establishing appropriate call cycles in order to retain and grow revenues from assigned account database.
- Adhere to Leanin’ Tree sales policies, procedures, prices, promotions, terms and conditions which includes selling with integrity and ethical behavior, maintaining up to date knowledge about products and merchandising and practicing “Right product, Right store”.
- Obtains complete and current credit references on all new and existing accounts, working with the credit department to ensure timely release of orders for credit worthy customers.
- Assist other sales representatives pick orders.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, department, managers and other Leanin’ Tree departments.
- Regular and reliable attendance.

6) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
1 year sales experience, business to business preferred
Telephone sales experience, business to business preferred

8) WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL SKILLS NEEDED
Indoor office environment
Ability to sit for 8 hours while typing on a computer keyboard

Hand/eye coordination and visual acuity in near/mid ranges
Manual dexterity using both hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and dial phone, reaching with arms/hands
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Base Salary Range: $31827.00 to $43328.00 annually
Target commission opportunity: $20,000.00 to $60,000.00 annually
