As a Program Assistant at the Early Childhood Education Center with A New Leaf, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our educational programs. Your responsibilities will include assisting educators with classroom activities, preparing instructional materials, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing administrative support as needed. You will work closely with staff, children, and families to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all. Your dedication and enthusiasm will contribute to the overall success of our early childhood education initiatives.

 

Hourly Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.00 DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Phoenix, AZ

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:         

  • High School or GED, required 
  • Associate degree, preferred, or equivalent relevant experience  

Experience:      

  • 6 months of customer service, required  
  • 1 year of office experience, required 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Answer phones and greet visitors, provide information and additional resources 
  • Check in/out children and escort them to and from class 
  • Communicate with parents. Coordinate teacher/student ratios  
  • Confirm attendance based on sign-in books and ProCare  
  • Perform administrative tasks to support programmatic goals 
  • Maintain student files and ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements 
  • Adhere to paperwork and filing processes and procedures 
  • Ensure all data is recorded accurately in relevant systems 
  • Utilize office equipment such as a printer, copier, scanner, phone, and computers to accomplish tasks. Order supplies and maintain inventory 
  • Create and maintain program newsletter and other parent communication 
  • Utilize personal vehicle to complete administrative tasks off-site (e.g. picking up mail or donations for the program)  
  • Other duties as assigned 

Compliance/Requirements:   

  • Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card 
  • Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation 
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance 
  • 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record 
  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
