ORR Clinician / Therapist / Social Worker-Bilingual (Spanish)

A New Leaf operates a licensed and accredited 24-hour youth shelter for children ages 12-17, offering specialized case management services aimed at family reunification. In our safe and supportive environment, we provide meals, education, a warm place to sleep, and engaging activities to keep children’s spirits high while receiving round-the-clock care. Our mission is to foster the growth and well-being of each child, supporting their physical and mental health, educational and vocational development, and ensuring timely family reunification and/or release planning.
Now Hiring: Bilingual Clinician (Spanish/English)
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Bilingual Clinician to join our dedicated team. This full-time role will work directly with the youth in our shelter, offering mental health support and crisis intervention services, while contributing to family reunification goals.
Licensed Annual Salary: $78,000
Unlicensed Annual Salary: $65,000
Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday; 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Location: Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related behavioral science with clinical experience.
Licensure:
- Highly preferred: Licensed with the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
- Considered: Unlicensed candidates with the potential to obtain licensure.
Experience:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Minimum 1 year of behavioral health experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with minors
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and submit required paperwork, including progress notes, reports, and incident documentation.
- Conduct mental health assessments for youth.
- Provide individual and group counseling services.
- Screen for human trafficking concerns and intervene as necessary.
- Offer crisis intervention services and verbal/physical crisis management.
- Collaborate with Lead Clinician and Clinical Director/Supervisor on admissions, discharges, and utilization management.
- Complete staffing notes for multidisciplinary team reviews.
- Support Utilization Management in conjunction with clinical leadership.
- Provide training and supervision to new staff as needed.
Compliance Requirements:
- Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- Current Auto Liability Insurance
- Clean 39-Month Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
