SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to support business operations and enhance user productivity. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that Salesforce is effectively utilized to meet the bank's objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user management, security settings, and access controls.
- Partner with Lines of Business throughout the bank to configure Salesforce applications, workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Lead the development and deployment of new features and functionality in alignment with the bank’s strategic goals.
- Lead staff augmentation resources to assist in the development and support of the environments.
- Stay informed about Salesforce updates and enhancements, recommending best practices for usage. Lead the upgrade efforts to ensure a smooth implementation.
- Understand and follow the Technology processes, policies and practices regarding ITIL, code development, security scanning and change management.
- Keep apprised of IT trends and technologies and build knowledge and technical expertise.
- Identify opportunities for automations and process improvements within Salesforce to enhance user productivity and data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Conduct regular audits of configuration to ensure optimal system performance. Ensure the application comply with banking regulations and internal security policies.
- Partner with the Risk Organization to ensure data privacy and security standards are met.
- Assist in data management, including data quality, migration, and reporting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, using API’s and third-party applications.
- Certifications
- Salesforce Administrator certification is required.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is preferred.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
