NATURE AND SCOPE: 

 

This position reports to the VP, Landmark Investment Center.  Provides overall administrative and operational support to the financial advisors.  Responsible for assistance and coordination of all activities related to client service, scheduling, processing of paperwork and facilitation of business development events.  This position will have direct contact with clients, salespersons and other professionals.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

 

  1. High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  2. Must have a FINRA securities license or three years of experience as an administrative assistant in the investment management industry.
  3. Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
  4. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  5. Must have a thorough understanding of industry policies and procedures as they relate to this position.  Must understand and comply with all job related state and federal laws and regulations.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

 

  1. Responsible for answering phones, scheduling and contacting clients, preparing for and coordinating meetings and seminars.
  2. Performs research and makes inquiries on client accounts with fund and insurance companies, as well as LPL’s home office.
  3. Manages order-entry of Securities and processes orders as approved by the Broker/Dealer.
  4. Works closely with the advisors and performs as the go-to person for the department.
  5. Maintains client files and logs information, amending or creating new files as needed.
  6. Monitors pending account paperwork with LPL and fund/insurance companies.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
