NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the VP, Business Services Operations. Responsible for overseeing the Business Services Loan Processing and Loan Administration teams. This role involves providing expertise and training on all loan documentation matters, including those related to complex ownership structures, various loan types, and securitization. The Sr Manager, Business Services Operations ensures the efficient and accurate processing of loans, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the delivery of exceptional service to members. Additionally, this position plays a critical role in developing and implementing process improvements, managing risk, and supporting the strategic objectives of the Business Services Department.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Lending operations, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
2. Bachelor’s or higher degree preferred.
3. Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders. Strong skills in maintaining relationships both internally and externally, including with members.
4. Demonstrated expertise in loan documentation and servicing across both commercial real estate and commercial and industrial sectors.
5. Demonstrated ability to function in a variety of programs and systems relevant to job responsibilities. Previous experience with LaserPro and Document Imaging systems is preferred.
6. Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
7. Proven ability to independently organize work, balance multiple priorities, and manage a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
9. Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to the position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Oversee and manage the Business Services Loan Processing and Loan Administration teams. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
2. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
3. Provide expertise and training to associates on all aspects of loan servicing and documentation.
4. Oversees pre-closing documentation process for business loans, including closing checklists, title policies, surveys, UCC searches, credit bureaus, and flood determination.
5. Helps minimize loan closing exceptions and oversees the tracking and collection of exception items that loan documentation is responsible for.
6. Oversee the process of preparation and assembly of business loan files to ensure completeness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Situationally reviews loan documents and loan files to ensure compliance with Landmark policies and procedures.
8. Oversees the loan booking and disbursement processes.
9. Oversees loan documentation responsibilities within the loan tickler system, including tracking and reporting.
10. Reviews and/or prepares all business loan reports as per the business loan policy and others as assigned on a timely basis.
11. Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational performance.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
