We are an independent, global, one-stop-shop focused on delivering Central Laboratory Services that are tailor-made, timely and flexible to meet the evolving study demands of traditional to increasingly complex trials. Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.
Job Summary
The following duties are normal for this position; however, they are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities
- Manage individual study quotation preparation process and timelines to exceed customer expectations and facilitate an efficient, high quality, accurate, and timely submission for assigned tasks.
- Prepare quotations using the company’s pricing tools.
- Obtain third party vendor quotes from partner companies.
- Participate in strategy calls and budget review calls, as needed.
- Assist in making recommendations on desirable proposals, based on established financial and operational criteria, as required.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to improve the quality and timeliness of the quotation submissions.
- Follow up with Business Development Directors to ensure that proposals are complete and answer their need.
- Assist with the preparation of Business Development presentations, when requested.
- Update CRM database, as needed, and ensure accuracy of departmental information.
- Act as an expert resource to internal and external customers.
- Participate in Proposal Management initiatives, when requested.
- Perform all other related duties, as assigned.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, business, or marketing related discipline
- 3-5 years customer service or related experience. Experience in a contract research and/or research setting preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Ability to perform calculations and manage budgets. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to budget management for clinical trials.

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint, as well as an aptitude for learning new database software quickly. SalesForce and SharePoint experience preferred.
