Manager, Organizational Development (Human Resources)

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Plan, implement and direct the Talent Development activities specifically for Organizational Development. Manage all phases of personnel activity, ranging from development and management of Company-wide talent development, culture company initiatives relating to the training, talent development, workforce planning, career planning, and development processes required to insure that a qualified, trained and managed hourly, salaried and management workforce is sustained.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
- Create and manage personnel planning programs and action plans to recruit, select, train, evaluate and develop employees for the K-Path rotational program and Kubota's internship program.
- Counsel members of Senior Management on a wide range of personnel issues related to policy matters, management/employee development, performance evaluation, cascading goal development and implementation, and corporate/field training.
- Direct the development, implementation and action items of Kubota's cultural initiatives awareness and manage company survey data to support near term objectives.
- Partner with all levels of leadership on unified communication for talent management and programs that will be built out based on the company's objectives.
- Continuous improvement on the talent development company strategy and initiatives.
- Build out data and dashboards for effective reporting that pertains to talent management and organizational development for the HR team.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with outside vendors/suppliers to deliver a range of services.
- Develop and continuous build out of Kubota's workforce planning and career pathing model to ensure employee growth is measured within departments.
- Partner with leadership and support, and measure the function’s human resources and develop a strong service workforce to ensure future growth of the company.
- Manage department talent and organizational operational budget for spending and expense tracking.
- Develop and manage operating budgets for assigned functions.
- Additional duties as assigned by leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree/MBA in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Organizational Development or similar related area of study required preferred. Bachelor’s degree required in similar field.
- At least 7 years of management experience in human resources in a related industry required.
- At least 3 years of experience leading leaders in a Human Resources department preferred.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of all Human Resources functions and processes.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in presenting ideas in a clear and concise manner, project and program management and the ability to think well on your feet.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel all levels of employees on a wide range of issues, including personal development, professional development, employee relations, performance and conflict resolution.
- Analytical and problem solving skills to draw from one’s experience to propose new and innovative solutions.
