BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Kubota Credit Corporation Team Lead, Loss Mitigation and Recovery assists Loan Servicing Center Management with overseeing daily operations. Responsibilities include successfully managing complex, late-stage accounts and processes including bankruptcy, legal, deceased, fraud, repossession, asset disposition, charge off and lease maturity management.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
- Regularly engage with front line team members to provide continual coaching and support to help them reach their maximum potential.
- Train team members on daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure comprehensive understanding of company policy and procedure.
- Conduct account reviews and monthly one-on-ones to ensure that performance expectations are being met and customer, dealer and vendor interactions are completed in accordance with company policy.
- Serve as a valuable operational resource for both team members and management.
- Effectively manage internal or external escalations including complex customer, dealer and vendor contacts and process or policy inquiries.
- Communicate with customers, dealers and vendors to work towards account resolution.
- Work with Management to continually improve Loss Mitigation and Recovery strategies and procedures.
- Provide performance reports to team members and Management as needed.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment where all ideas are valued and team members have a clear understanding of how they contribute to the achievement of enterprise objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of Customer Service or Collection experience preferred. Experience specific to the financing and or leasing of automobiles, heavy trucks, turf, powersports, construction and/or agricultural equipment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state rules, regulations, and policies for servicing consumer and commercial loan and lease accounts.
- Supervisory and administrative skills.
- Demonstrable business maturity with experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Good interpersonal communication skills for dealing with internal and external customers, subordinates, peers and management.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to think creatively to solve problems and overcome challenges
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):
Must be able to operate standard office equipment, including computer equipment, copier, fax machine, telephone, and printer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical call center environment. This position will require walking, standing and sitting at a computer.
