Instructional Designer/Trainer (Corporate - Grapevine)

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Instructor position will enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees through leading employee onsite and virtual training initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education, public speaking, along with the desire to grow into a corporate training professional.
The Instructor position will be a crucial role to ensure employees are well-equipped to meet the organization’s goals and standards through facilitating training for corporate and division employees, identifying training needs, and assisting in developing training materials.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
- Facilitation and Training: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for employees at all levels, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
- Presentation and Public Speaking: Deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations to diverse audiences. Ensure that training materials are well-organized and presented in a professional manner.
- Logistics and Scheduling: Manage the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, coordinating with participants, booking venues, and ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available.
- Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and update training programs and materials to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback. Make recommendations for improvements based on data and participant feedback.
- Collaboration: Develop relationships with all departments to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions.
- Reliability: Ensure consistent and reliable delivery of training programs. Maintain a high level of professionalism and dependability in all interactions.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training programs.
- Support Kubota KPI’s by aligning training objectives with the KPIs and developing targeted programs to address specific skills and knowledge gaps.
- Continuously monitor the impact on KPIs and provide ongoing support to ensure sustained improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required with at 3 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of related training and instructional design experience.
- Experience in Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) preferred.
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including public speaking abilities and the ability to train others.
- Experience managing logistics and scheduling for training sessions is a bonus.
- Ability to work with little supervision and be self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
