JOB DESCRIPTION
BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Responsible for various internal and external activities relating to the corporate office’s building and property.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
- General Maintenance is performed in these areas (but not limited to): Plumbing, minor electrical, concrete repair, minor carpentry and construction, moving furniture, event set-up, etc.
- Perform general housekeeping inspections.
- Assist with coordinating efforts with outside contractors and vendors such as obtaining quotes and coordinating repairs if projects can not be completed in-house.
- Maintain and manage work orders for facilities requests via Google Sheets.
- Maintains various charts and spreadsheets.
- Be the point of contact for service vendors and the administrative team onsite.
- Perform routine inspections of the facility.
- Miscellaneous: facility maintenance, and special projects as assigned.
- Additional duties assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years in facilities and/or safety.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
- Forklift and some powered equipment experience preferred.
- Skilled in the use of PCs including Windows, Word, Excel and Google Suite.
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written), ability to interact with management, vendors, and a wide spectrum of individuals. Must have ability to persuade, explain and present recommendations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift, squat, reach, climb stairs and ladders, enter into small spaces and other physical requirements as necessary. The position will require walking, standing and sitting at a computer. Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
