Quality Specialist

We have a position available in the Quality Department as a Quality Specialist at the Kirby Risk Service Center in Lafayette, IN!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assists the Quality Department in developing, implementing, and documenting quality standards and procedures.
• Supports departments to help improve quality, equipment, and inspection of products.
• Provides reports and analysis of non-conformances to include root cause and corrective action.
• Collaborates with customers and suppliers on quality improvement both internally and externally.
• Facilitates training of the Quality System to production employees.
• Documents and analyzes information for product and process improvement.

Want to know if you are a good fit? If so, you will meet the following criteria:

• College degree in technical field and 3 years ISO/QS or equivalent experience.
• Understands statistical process control.
• Comprehends and grasps blueprint reading.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• High level of organization, with the ability to multitask and meet several deadlines at once.
• Ability to learn and apply new knowledge/skills.

Hours and Travel: 7:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Overtime as needed. Minimal travel for service trips or training.
