Want to know if you are a good fit? You must be able to:

• Interpret MRP/ERP system and reports
• Place and follow up on Purchase orders
• Coordinate the replenishment of all production and prototype materials; sourcing alternatives as needed. Expedite when necessary
• Attend and participate in meetings, seminars, workshops, and related functions with internal or external sources of expertise
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
• Actively monitor and track supplier performance through scorecard reporting and quarterly business reviews
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure a reasonable cost, schedule, quality, payment, and delivery terms.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and improve efficiencies in support of Lean Manufacturing.

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management preferred
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Purchasing, ERP, and procurement
• Strong attention to detail, diligence, multi-tasking, problem-solving, patience, and strong written and verbal skills
• Preference will be given to candidates with research, sourcing, and ordering experience, MRP experience, as well as the ability to read prints
• Ability to identify a strategy for cost savings and continuous improvement projects
