Material Handler

Material Handler – KRPM

Are you a motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail? Are you flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Material Handler at our Kirby Risk Precision Machining location in Lafayette, IN!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Delivering raw material throughout the production facility
• Staging raw material and work in process for production efficiency
• Verifying accuracy of incoming material quantities
• Maintaining and organizing all inventory storage locations, including materials received for repairs and stock
• Communicating inventory discrepancies to production management

Primary requirements include:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrate basic Mechanical aptitude
• Previous shipping/receiving experience is required.

• Previous forklift experience; Current forklift certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer contact skills
• Valid Driver’s License (For Hire Endorsement)
