The Impact You Will Make
Under direction of VP of Business Development, the Manager, Sales Operations & CDMO Proposal will manage the full CDMO proposal process by creating, developing, and evaluating proposal requests. In addition, the incumbent will be pivotal in supporting the CDA process. The Manager, Sales Operations & CDMO Proposal will be responsible for executing proposals, talking through the proposal with customers, working with the BD team which will directly contribute to the success of the organization’s goals.
Essential Job Functions:
- Generate proposals across the enterprise including injectable and nasal Business Units – creating proposal templates, responding to RFIs/RFPs, working with internal groups to collect relevant information, etc.
- Contribute to the development of proposal request process.
- Support the CDA process.
- Create RFI/RFP response repository, allowing easy access to responses for future inquiries and eliminating duplication of internal requests.
- Work within Salesforce to utilize any current processes or establish new processes to help with proposal requests and tracking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree with focus in life sciences and/or Business related experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in Sales Operations and Proposals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong managerial, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Thorough understanding and in-depth knowledge of FDA Regulations and other pharma regulations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinking, ability to anticipate the fast-changing environment and innovative mindset to embrace changes and identify innovative solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Must have strong customer service.
- Ability dealing with large data sets and the skills to work with the data sets.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work both independently and in a team environment with limited direction to complete work assignments accurately and on time, including prioritizing multiple requests for competing projects.
