ROLE SUMMARY
Assemble, label and package finished products as per departmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform all functions on assembly, disassembly, and packaging line (bag, pouch, box, etc.).
2. Perform inspection of material or product to be assembled, labeled and packaged.
3. Operate the appropriate assembly/packaging equipment per SOP’s and Batch Records
4. Follow direction of Senior Technicians regarding line setup and operation.
5. Maintain accurate batch records, proper accountability and sample records.
6. Handle material and product to facilitate packaging operations.
7. Follow department SOP’s and cGMPs and document activity on product batch records, as required
8. Perform appropriate housekeeping duties.
9. Other duties as assigned.
10. The employee must wear all required safety equipment and perform assigned work in a safe manner.
11. Participate in process improvement activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma / general education degree (GED) or Associates Degree plus 1 year manufacturing/Packaging work experience or previous Pfizer experience or Veterans/Military experience.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• All new external applicants will be required to pass an assessment test.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to perform calculations for percent accountabilities, reconciliation of numerical values.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
• The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is required to stand/sit and walk at or near the assembly line.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust and focus.
• Must achieve a score of 8 or better for near vision (14”) with both eyes, using the Titmus II vision tester or 20/25 on a nearpoint Snellen acuity card at 16”. Acceptable visual acuity is a Snellen fraction of 20/25 or greater. They must have normal color vision by Ishihara screening.
