Import & Export Coordinator

Due to significant changes in the marketplace Kindeva is currently going through a period of substantial growth and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team in Loughborough.
Import & Export Coordinator Role Overview:
To work as part of the Global Logistics organization supporting administration tasks, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Progress non-Kindeva originating import and export shipments.
- Supporting the generation and maintenance of relevant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Providing and upkeeping data repositories used for Trade and related financial Compliance.
- Providing and upkeeping data repositories used for Global Logistics spend analysis.
- Process Global Logistics Insurance claims.
- Support audit requests for Global Logistics data, WI’s and SOP’s.
- Perform operational aspects on non-Kindeva originating UK import & export shipments including making bookings, provision of Customs information and providing progress updates to stakeholders.
- Perform relevant and timely proof of export tasks.
- Perform relevant and timely proof of import tasks.
- Take operational responsibility for damaged/missing cargo claim process, including freight company liability recovery and Kindeva own insurance claim.
- Take operational responsibility for recording of freight invoices.
- WI/SOP generation.
- Perform Import VAT reconciliation.
- Receive and action C79 Global Logistics responsibilities (where import VAT has been paid).
- Receive and action PVA Global Logistics responsibilities (where import VAT has been postponed).
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in transportation coordination or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, supply chain best practices, and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced, time-sensitive situations.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to handling challenges.
- Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
