This is an exciting opportunity as a Facilities Engineer at our new state-of-the-art facility! This individual will be accountable for the performance and results and for setting strategic direction for related job families.  Will lead troubleshooting technical problems for equipment and systems to quickly resolve any issues. Provide support to the maintenance group with a working knowledge of EAMS, Quality systems and aseptic work practices.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Troubleshoot technical problems for equipment and systems to quickly resolve any issues.
• Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommends corrective action.
• Communicates with vendors to identify and remedy machine issues, implementing change within an aseptic environment
• Customer focused with production to determine process challenges and mitigate downtime.
• Document engineering work in a timely manner and in a manner consistent with cGMP standards
• Drive changes with maintenance and quality department to determine acceptable scope of repair work to eliminate equipment downtime.
• Updates EAMS with new PMs, Spare Parts, and evaluates PM effectiveness
• Other Work as assigned 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:  Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Entry level candidate with Engineering Degree

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• May require walking, standing, and or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to drive between site facilities in the Greater St. Louis area.
• Travel requirement of >10% of time.
• Must be willing and able to work multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and other times, with minimal notice.
• Incumbent will be required to respond to emergencies, both by phone and in person as necessary, at any time.
