Position Profile: Media & Marketing Analyst Seasonal Assistant
Department: Media & Marketing
Reports to: Media & Marketing Analyst
Status: Seasonal, Hourly
JOB SUMMARY: The Media & Marketing Analyst Seasonal Assistant will assist in providing analytical support across all programs, campaigns, and initiatives in the Media & Marketing department. This role will assist in the analysis of digital and social platform performance, lead earned media monitoring and measurement, and conduct market research, to provide analyses, visualizations, insights, and recommendations.
The ideal candidate is an analyst looking to operate at the intersection of data, sports media, marketing, and entertainment sectors.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize existing platforms to organize and tag content into appropriate campaigns
- Interpret performance, results, and trends to develop strategy and drive recommendations for both internal departments and external partners
- Leverage tools on hand to build dashboards and inform leadership of insights and operations
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for various departments, products, and platforms across the organization
- Assist in the identification, vetting, and measurement of influencer talent
- Monitor news, social media platforms, and other published content to identify opportunities, risks, etc.
- Research ways in which other teams and brands are growing their footprint to drive organizational growth
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to support organizational goals
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in data visualization is a plus, especially Power BI
- Experience with digital analytics tools such as Omniture, Emplifi, Meltwater, Klear, Relo, etc.
- Working knowledge of digital platforms including websites, mobile apps, social media, YouTube and digital advertising
- Ability to craft reports and presentations tailored to stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Identifies problems and implements solutions quickly without sacrificing accuracy
- Experience working with robust datasets and identifying patterns or insights in data
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines
