GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for product planning and tour operation.
Essential Job Functions
Product Planning (% of Time Spent: 45%)
- Analyzes market conditions to develop new tour ideas and new itinerary.
- Creates new tours in an employee's assigned city or destination.
- Observes, receives and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources to provide accurate information and advice to maximize cost savings and provide a high degree of customer service.
- Negotiates with clients and suppliers.
Tour Operation (% of Time Spent: 45%)
- Works and maintains open communication with Customer Service team.
- Makes tour operation arrangements daily to cater to customers' needs.
- Manages an itinerary using TOGO system.
- Manages and updates the tour costs in TOGO system
Client Management (% of Time Spent: 10%)
- Identifies client’s needs and addresses them in an effective and timely manner.
- Manages client accounts and maintains a good relationship.
- Maintains strong relationship with clients and related parties.
Other Duties:
- Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solutions.
- Maintains good communication with your superiors, office staff members and outside contacts.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Education and Experience
- Possesses 0-1 years of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills, in one's expertise.
Skills and Knowledge
- Possesses sufficient knowledge and skills to perform day-to-day responsibilities. Requires minimum supervision.
- Speaks, reads and writes Japanese language.

Working Hours:
- Normal business hours between 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,
- May be required to work after normal business hours and weekends.
Working Environment:
- Work is performed in an air-conditioned office environment.
- Work can be performed remotely but may be required to report to the Torrance Office two times per month or as required.
- Subject to varying atmospheric conditions, up to and including, noise, pollution, dust, fumes and vehicle exhaust
Equipment Used:
- General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, scanner, etc.
- Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS office, TOGO.
